Belts were lasting approx. 3-4 months on C1 primary jaw crusher conveyor on site. The customer had tried belts from various manufacturers and some failed even earlier due to the severe working conditions of the conveyor. UsFlex belt was installed and has now operated for three times longer than the previous belts used. This has greatly reduced belt cost per tonne and belt maintenance costs. The customer has also fitted UsFlex belt to the secondary crusher belt – 180mtrs x 1200mm UF 1000/2 8+3mm, that has also resulted in a significant increase in belt life.
