This recycling plant had tried several belts supplied by a number of different manufacturers. The results were extremely poor with a maximum operational life of 3 months with some belts lasting as little as two weeks before needing to be replaced. The recycling plant operators thought that this was to be expected because of the chemically aggressive type of waste. 12 months ago the local Dunlop distributor installed 400/3 4+2 ROS belt. The belt is still operating and remains in excellent condition and has far exceeded the customer’s expectations.
