Because of the unacceptably short working life of the competitor’s belt experienced on identical applications in other power plants the contractor installed a Dunlop 400/3 ROM belt in this location more than 3 years ago. The belt has already lasted 6 times longer than the previous belt type and continues to function without problems. The customer is extremely pleased with the improved performance and cost efficiencies.
